Lucknow University has expelled LLM fourth semester student Satyam Yadav with immediate effect following recommendations from the proctorial board and dean of student welfare on charges of indiscipline. The decision, approved by the vice-chancellor, also prohibits Yadav from future admission to the university and its affiliated colleges.
Details of the Expulsion
According to the order, the student was previously suspended for disciplinary issues but allegedly re-entered the campus without permission. He is also accused of attempting to disrupt a Bar Council of India inspection, spreading misleading information on social media about the university, misconduct with officials, and issuing threats.
Earlier Actions
In a separate incident, the university had expelled three students on June 1 for allegedly disrupting the movement of the vice-chancellor. Their admit cards have been canceled, and they will not be permitted to appear in the end semester examinations.
This action underscores the university's commitment to maintaining discipline on campus and ensuring a safe academic environment for all students.
