Sequence of Events Leading to the Abduction
In his official statement to authorities, the victim provided a harrowing account of the incident. On April 8, at approximately 4:00 PM, Sachin Pal was returning home on a motorcycle accompanied by a friend and a female acquaintance. As they approached a bridge in the Banthra area, their path was intercepted by the accused, Saksham Singh, who arrived at the scene in a car.
The confrontation reportedly began when Saksham Singh, harboring suspicions that the victim was in contact with his girlfriend, initiated a heated verbal exchange. The situation deteriorated rapidly when Saksham Singh, joined by associates traveling in a separate four-wheeler vehicle, forcibly stopped the victim's motorcycle.
Escalation to Abduction and Assault
