Lucknow University expels LLM student for indiscipline

Lucknow: Lucknow University has expelled LLM fourth semester student Satyam Yadav with immediate effect following recommendations from the proctorial board and dean student welfare on charges of indiscipline.

The decision, approved by the vice-chancellor, also bars Yadav from future admission to the university and its affiliated colleges. According to the order, the student was earlier suspended for disciplinary issues, but allegedly re-entered the campus without permission. He is also accused of attempting to disrupt a Bar Council of India inspection, spreading misleading information on social media about the university, misconduct with officials, and issuing threats.

Previous Expulsions

In a separate action, the university had earlier expelled three students on June 1 for allegedly disrupting the movement of the vice chancellor. Their admit cards have also been cancelled, and they will not be allowed to appear in the end semester examinations.
