Tragic Bike Collision Claims Lives of Two Young Men in Madhepura
In a devastating road accident, two youths in their early twenties lost their lives when their motorcycle collided with an unidentified vehicle coming from the opposite direction. The tragic incident occurred near the Fardapari bridge under the jurisdiction of the Fulaut police station area in Madhepura district on Friday evening.
Victims Identified as Local Residents
According to police officials, the victims have been identified as Rahul Kumar, son of Kishor Mandal, and Krishna Kumar, son of Chandeshwari Mandal. Both young men were residents of Morsanda village, which falls under the same Fulaut police station area. They were returning to their home village from Chausa market when the fatal collision took place.
Severe Impact and Immediate Aftermath
The impact of the collision was described as extremely severe, causing both riders to be violently flung off their motorcycle. They sustained multiple serious injuries in the crash. Alert passersby who witnessed the accident immediately rushed to the scene to provide assistance.
Upon reaching the victims, they discovered that one of the young men had already died at the accident site. The other injured youth was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries while en route to the medical facility.
Police Investigation Underway
Fulaut Station House Officer Varun Kumar Verma promptly arrived at the accident location to oversee the initial response and investigation. The police officer confirmed that both bodies have been sent for postmortem examination to determine the exact causes of death.
SHO Verma stated, "Police are actively investigating the matter to identify the vehicle involved in this tragic accident. We are examining all available evidence and speaking with potential witnesses to piece together exactly what happened."
