Man arrested for forging documents to get two passports

Pratapgarh police on Friday arrested a man identified as Mohd Ayub (54), a resident of Gowardhanpur, on charges of obtaining two passports using forged documents. The arrest followed a detailed investigation that revealed the accused had secured two separate passports by providing different personal details and fraudulent documents.

Discrepancies in Passports

The investigation uncovered significant discrepancies between the two passports. These included variations in date of birth, place of birth, parents' names, and residential details. Such inconsistencies raised suspicions and led to a deeper probe into the matter.

Forgery and Manipulation

Further examination of records indicated that the second passport was obtained through the alteration or manipulation of an Aadhaar card and other official documents. This pointed to a deliberate attempt to deceive authorities and bypass legal procedures.
