Mumbai: The MRA Marg police station in South Mumbai arrested a 38-year-old man on Friday for allegedly stabbing a man in his 30s multiple times over a monetary dispute. Police said the accused and the victim were known to each other and are related. The accused attacked the victim with a sharp weapon inside Crawford Market. The victim worked at a dry fruit shop.
Details of the Incident
The victim sustained more than six stab injuries and was admitted to the hospital, after which the police were informed. Police immediately took the accused, Moin Yusuf Shivani, 38, into custody and began questioning him. He was arrested for attempt to murder. Further investigation is ongoing.
