The incident unfolded during the intervening night between March 25 and March 26, when a tempo vehicle loaded with 27 LPG cylinders vanished from Kaka Keni Chowk in the Charkop area. A formal police complaint was lodged by Nandkumar Soni, prompting swift action from law enforcement. Following the registration of a First Information Report (FIR), police teams were mobilized to investigate the disappearance and track down the stolen property.
