Acting swiftly on this tip-off, PSI Manjunath T of the Bantwal Rural police station, along with his team, conducted a raid at the specified spot.
During the operation, police took the suspect into custody. Upon interrogation, Prashanth reportedly admitted to procuring ganja and coming to the location with the intent to sell it to customers. A thorough inspection led to the seizure of 180 grams of ganja from his possession. Additionally, police confiscated a two-wheeler found at the scene, which was allegedly used in the illicit activities.

During questioning, the accused revealed that the ganja was allegedly supplied by Abdul Razak of Pallamajalu in Bantwal, who had instructed him to sell it to customers. Police have registered a case at the Bantwal Rural police station under Sections 8(C) read with 20(b)(ii)(A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
