A disturbing incident has come to light in Seera village, where a man allegedly set his father's house on fire. The accused, identified as Lokesh Kumar, reportedly broke into the residence while his elderly father, a retired ex-serviceman, was away at the court complex on June 10.

Details of the Incident

According to the police, the father, Budh Ram (65), had locked his house before leaving for the court. In his absence, his son Lokesh Kumar allegedly forced open the main gate and set the house ablaze. The fire caused significant damage to the property, destroying a bed, LED TV, CCTV cameras, clothes, fans, PVC ceiling panels, and other household items.

Police Action

Based on Budh Ram's complaint, the police have registered a case against Lokesh Kumar. An investigation is currently underway to ascertain the motive behind the arson. The elderly father expressed shock and distress over his son's actions, which have left him homeless and devastated.
