According to police reports, the assaults occurred multiple times between June 22, 2026, and July 9, 2026. The accused allegedly took the girl to his house on several occasions during this period and sexually assaulted her. The victim, whose age has not been disclosed, knew the accused as a neighbour.

The case was registered at the Sullia police station on July 12, 2026, under the Pocso Act. Police have taken the accused into custody and are conducting further investigations.
