Bengaluru police are investigating the suspected murder of a 20-year-old man whose body was discovered in a park in the city. The incident came to light on the morning of 12 July 2026, when locals spotted the body and alerted authorities.
Police Register Murder Case
According to police officials, a case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Section 103, which pertains to murder. The law enforcement agency has launched a search operation for the suspects involved in the crime. The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed pending family notification.
“We are treating this as a murder case and have initiated a thorough investigation,” a senior police officer stated. The officer added that forensic teams have been deployed to collect evidence from the scene, and CCTV footage from nearby areas is being reviewed.
