Man murdered in Dahisar over objection to affair

A 35-year-old man was murdered in the Dahisar area of Mumbai after he objected to the accused's alleged affair with his brother's wife. The incident took place late on Monday night, according to police officials.

Details of the incident

The complainant, Mahesh Sugire, 35, a resident of Mira Road, stated in his complaint that his younger brother, Sagar Sugire, 29, had confronted the accused regarding his alleged relationship with Mahesh's wife. Sagar asked the accused to end the affair, which led to a heated argument.

During the confrontation, the accused allegedly punched and kicked Sagar. The situation escalated when the accused picked up a rock and attacked Sagar with it. Police said the accused then pushed Sagar down a flight of stairs. Even after Sagar lost consciousness, the accused continued to assault him with the stone, intending to kill him.

Medical response and legal action

Sagar was rushed to Nair Hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival. Based on Mahesh Sugire's complaint, the Dahisar police registered a First Information Report (FIR) for murder against the accused. The investigation is currently underway, and police are working to apprehend the suspect.
