Man Murdered in Mumbai Mahim, Three Arrested

A 22-year-old man was allegedly murdered by a group of individuals, including a woman, in Mumbai's Mahim area during the early hours of Thursday, according to a police officer. The victim has been identified as Sohail Sheikh, a resident of Naya Nagar, as confirmed by the Mahim police station officer.

The incident occurred in front of Raheja Hospital. Sheikh was passing through the area when the accused intercepted him, leading to an argument stemming from an old rivalry. They subsequently assaulted him with a sharp weapon. Sheikh was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival, the official stated.

Three suspects, including a woman, have been arrested, and efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining members of the group. Police suspect the involvement of at least six individuals in the case. A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for murder and other related offences, the official added.
