Upon questioning, the man was identified as Jestin Vincent, a 36-year-old resident of Kerala. "In his disoriented condition, Vincent inadvertently boarded a bus to Bengaluru, arriving in the city approximately two days prior to being found," stated a Bengaluru police officer familiar with the case.
