Missing Nagpur Teens Found in Wardha, Returned Home

Nagpur: Tension prevailed in Bhaldarpura and Mominpura in central Nagpur after three minor girls, including two cousins, went missing on June 11. Police brought the girls back home safely from Wardha district after 48 hours, but the exact reason behind their sudden disappearance is under investigation.

Families began a frantic search after a 14-year-old girl and her two friends, aged 17, who are also cousins, left home along with a male friend on Thursday. The four traveled from Nagpur to Amravati, then to Akola, and boarded a train to Hyderabad. Relatives filed a missing persons complaint at Ganeshpeth police station. For two days, the area remained on edge as police teams launched a search operation.

While moving around in Hyderabad, the youngsters realized that police were actively looking for them and their families were anxious. The group then decided to return home. On Saturday, they reached Asthi police station in Wardha district and sought help.
