Alwar: An eight-month-old girl is fighting for her life after her mother allegedly forced acid down her throat following a dispute with her husband in the Bhiwadi area of Khairthal-Tijara district, police said Tuesday.
Incident Details
The girl is currently undergoing treatment at the Rajkiya Geetanand Shishu Hospital in Alwar, where doctors have described her condition as critical. According to police and family members, the mother, identified as Sapna, had been insisting on visiting her parental home for the past few days. Her husband, Mohit, asked her to postpone the visit as he had recently started a new job and was unable to take leave.
