The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has intensified its probe into the NEET paper leak case, conducting searches at the houses of two students in Nagpur. The agency seized digital devices and handwritten notes during the operation, officials said on Wednesday.

The searches were carried out at the residences of the two students, who are suspected to have been in possession of leaked question papers. The CBI teams recovered laptops, mobile phones, and other electronic gadgets, which will be sent for forensic analysis. The students are believed to be part of a larger network involved in the leak.
Investigation Progress
The CBI has registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act. The agency is also probing the role of officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA) and other entities. So far, multiple arrests have been made across different states.
The paper leak came to light after several candidates reported discrepancies in the question papers. The CBI took over the investigation from local police following a directive from the Supreme Court.
