A 22-year-old woman, who was married just two months ago, was discovered dead at her in-laws' residence in Bagaro village under Domchanch police station limits in Koderma district on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Kajal Khatoon. She had married Ayan Ansari two months prior. Kajal's family also resides within the Domchanch police station jurisdiction.
Incident Details
The incident came to light after Ayan made an urgent phone call to Kajal's parents, claiming that her health had deteriorated. He urged them to come to Bagaro immediately. Upon arrival, Kajal's parents found her lifeless body lying in the bedroom. By then, Ayan and his parents had fled the scene.
Police Response
A team from Domchanch police station arrived at the scene and took Kajal's body for a postmortem examination. An FIR has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway. SP Kumar Shivashish stated, "The exact cause of Kajal's death can be determined only after the postmortem examination." As of the filing of this report, Kajal's husband and in-laws remained at large.
Police are actively searching for the accused, and further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
