A 19-year-old woman employed as a security guard at a private college girls' hostel in Noida's Knowledge Park died on Saturday after allegedly falling from the building. The victim was a resident of a village in Meerut district.
Police were alerted to the incident and immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Preliminary Findings Suggest Family Dispute
A senior police officer stated that initial findings indicate the incident may be linked to a family conflict between the woman and her husband. “Initial findings indicate the matter appears related to a family conflict. However, all possible angles are being examined, and the exact circumstances will be established after a thorough investigation,” the officer said.
Investigation Underway
Police have questioned relatives, inspected the hostel premises, and collected statements from individuals who interacted with the victim before the incident. Forensic evidence and material recovered from the scene are being examined.
The body has been sent for autopsy. Further action will be taken based on the investigation findings and any complaint received from the family.
