Young Woman Brutally Murdered in Noida Paying Guest Accommodation
A tragic incident unfolded in Noida's Phase 2 area on Friday evening when a 25-year-old woman was shot dead allegedly by her partner. The police suspect that the motive behind the killing was the woman's refusal to marry the accused.
The victim, identified as Sonu (25), was originally from Amroha and worked as a domestic help. Her alleged attacker, Krishna (26), hails from Bihar and remains absconding after the shooting.
Timeline of the Tragic Incident
According to police officials, the incident occurred at Sonu's paying guest accommodation in Phase 2. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida) Shakti Mohan Avasthy stated that Krishna visited the woman's room and opened fire following a dispute between the couple.
Police teams rushed to the spot after receiving information and immediately transported the injured woman to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, doctors declared her dead upon arrival, confirming the fatal nature of the gunshot wounds.

An FIR has been registered in connection with the murder, and intensive efforts are underway to arrest Krishna. Police revealed that both the victim and accused had previously worked together at a factory and had been in a relationship since that time.
Investigators disclosed that Krishna had been persistently pressuring Sonu to marry him, and her continued refusal is believed to have triggered the violent shooting. The case has highlighted concerns about relationship violence and the dangers women face when rejecting marriage proposals.
