A shocking incident unfolded in Yavatmal city on Saturday afternoon, where a 45-year-old nurse was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight inside a private hospital. The crime occurred around 4:30 PM at the old Shruti Hospital near Tiwari Chowk.
Victim Identified
The deceased has been identified as Kusum Chandekar (45). According to preliminary information, the accused entered the hospital and attacked Chandekar with a sharp weapon. She collapsed near the entrance of the hospital following the assault.
Police Response
Upon receiving information, police rushed to the crime scene, but the assailant had fled from the scene by then. Initial discussions suggest that the murder may have stemmed from a personal dispute between two nurses, though police have not yet officially confirmed the motive.
Investigation Underway
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway. Authorities are examining CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to identify the suspect.
