Ranchi's NUSRL Forges Strategic Alliance with Cyber Peace for Cyber Law and AI Governance

The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) in Ranchi has taken a significant step forward by signing a comprehensive memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the organization Cyber Peace. This landmark agreement establishes a formal partnership focused on multiple critical areas of digital governance and security.

Comprehensive Collaboration Across Digital Domains

The MoU encompasses collaboration in cyber law, cyber security, artificial intelligence (AI) governance, and digital forensics. Beyond these core areas, the partnership will extend to research initiatives, capacity building programs, and community awareness campaigns designed to enhance digital literacy and legal understanding.

The agreement specifically aims to promote academic collaboration and joint research initiatives between the institutions. Planned activities include specialized training programs, national conferences, hackathons, cyber moot court competitions, and cyber legal aid initiatives that will benefit students, professionals, and the broader community.

Jharkhand's First Disaster Risk Reduction Club Launched at Security University

In a separate development, Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University has inaugurated what is being described as the only disaster risk reduction club of its kind in Jharkhand. To mark the inauguration, organizers arranged a street play that effectively educated students, teachers, and non-teaching staff about disaster preparedness and response protocols. Students from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) have successfully designed and prepared an internal combustion engine all-terrain vehicle specifically for an upcoming national-level competition scheduled to be held in Hyderabad. The student team recently presented their vehicle before BIT faculty members, providing detailed explanations about the vehicle's innovative design, manufacturing phases, and technical specialities that make it competitive for the national event.
