Arrests Made During Night Interception on Biju Expressway
Acting on a credible tip-off about a large quantity of ganja being moved from Sambalpur towards Rourkela, a dedicated police team established a strategic checkpoint, or 'naka', on the Biju Expressway. On Sunday night, the authorities successfully intercepted the suspicious truck and detained its two occupants. The arrested individuals have been identified as Ajay Kumar, a 32-year-old driver from Patiala, and Verendra Pal, a 38-year-old resident of Ludhiana district in Punjab.
