A long-standing rivalry turned deadly in a Satna village late Friday night, resulting in one fatality and leaving four others with serious injuries after a violent confrontation erupted between two groups.
Violent Outbreak in Atra Village
The incident occurred in Atra village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Nagod police station. According to police officials, what began as a minor argument quickly spiraled out of control, escalating into a brutal assault where the groups attacked each other with sticks and other weapons.
The violence proved fatal for Dwarka Singh, aged 45. He sustained critical injuries during the clash and was being rushed to the district hospital for urgent medical care. Tragically, he succumbed to his wounds en route.

The other injured individuals, identified as Billa Patel and Natthu Patel among others, were admitted to the Satna district hospital. Medical authorities have reported their condition to be serious, and they are currently undergoing treatment.
Speaking to the media, Nagod police station in-charge Ashok Pandey confirmed the grim outcome. "One person died and a few sustained injuries in the clash," he stated.
