Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Dayanand Azad provided insights during a press conference on Sunday, stating, "On March 4, Devraj Sarkar, a 40-year-old resident of Talwadanga under Pakur town police station, was fatally stabbed by a group of assailants armed with knives." The victim's father, Meghnath Sarkar, filed a formal complaint, leading to the registration of a case at the town police station.
