In a concerning development, the Panchkula district court in Chandigarh was targeted by a bomb threat via email on Monday. The threatening message was received on the official email ID of the sessions judge, adding to a series of similar threats that have recently plagued the Chandigarh district court system.

Upon receiving the information, police authorities swiftly implemented necessary security protocols to mitigate any potential risks. The court complex was temporarily evacuated as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of all individuals and property within the premises.
A comprehensive search operation was then launched, involving multiple specialized teams. The dog squad, bomb disposal squad, and special police units conducted a thorough and systematic examination of the entire complex. Fortunately, no suspicious objects or explosive materials were discovered during this intensive operation.
