Once in the city, she was sexually assaulted at an undisclosed location during the nights of April 13 and 14. After the assault, the accused abandoned her and fled the scene, leaving her in a state of distress.
The traumatized girl managed to contact her parents, who immediately traveled to Patna to locate her. They successfully traced her and brought her back home, where she later recounted the harrowing experience to the authorities. However, due to the unfamiliar surroundings, the victim was unable to pinpoint the exact location where the assault occurred, complicating the investigation.

Women police station in-charge Rishu Kumari provided updates on the case, stating that the victim has undergone a medical examination, and the forensic report is currently awaited.
