Police officials stated that the family had assembled to pay tribute to the deceased. However, as the hours passed, a small group of about seven individuals became adamant about sitting indefinitely at the site, even after six hours had elapsed. A police officer explained, "Some other persons, about seven in number, were adamant that they would sit indefinitely at the site even after the passage of six hours. They were requested earlier to leave, as the tribute had already been paid."
Detentions and Release
Despite repeated requests from authorities to disperse, the group refused to comply, leading to their detention by police officials. The seven supporters were later released, with no further incidents reported.
