Prayagraj: Police on Tuesday attached benami properties worth Rs 1.10 crore of former block chief and mafia don Dilip Mishra at Silaudhi village under Meja tehsil amid tight security.
DCP (Yamuna Nagar) Vivek Chandra Yadav told TOI the court of the commissioner of police ordered the attachment of the property on Monday.
Police said Mishra was a listed history-sheeter, and over 50 cases were registered against him in different police stations of the district. He was currently lodged at Fatehgarh district jail. The Gangsters Act case against Dilip was registered at Industrial Area police station in 2020.
Earlier in May, the police attached a house belonging to Mishra worth Rs 43 lakh.
