Six Police Personnel Injured in Jehanabad Village Attack During Liquor Raid
In a violent incident that unfolded on Thursday, six police personnel sustained injuries when villagers launched an attack on a team from the excise department and local police. The confrontation occurred during a raid conducted at Sheikhpura Nat Toli, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Ghosi police station area in Jehanabad district.

During the raid, authorities successfully seized four litres of country-made liquor from a woman's residence. Additionally, another six litres of illicit liquor were confiscated from a separate location in the area. The attack resulted in injuries to six members of the law enforcement team, identified as Vikas Kumar, Chandan Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Manoj Kumar Gupta, Anish Kumar, and Ajay Kumar.

Excise inspector Manoj Kumar provided details on the aftermath of the incident. He stated, "After arresting two persons and seizing liquor, local villagers pelted stones at the excise team. An FIR has been registered against more than 50 persons. Strict legal action will be taken. Those involved have been identified, and raids are underway to arrest them."
