A case has been registered at the Suburban police station in Hubballi against ten individuals, including Sri Ram Sene president Pramod Muthalik, for allegedly forcibly entering the Shirdi Sai Baba temple near Old Court Circle, locking the donation box, and tearing the QR code.

Incident Details

According to the complaint lodged on May 13, Muthalik and his associates barged into the temple and allegedly verbally abused and assaulted temple president Mahadev Mashal. The group then proceeded to the upper floor, where they tore a banner and the QR code affixed to the wall and donation box. They also reportedly locked the donation box, preventing further donations.

Police Confirmation

Shruti NS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), confirmed that more than ten people entered the temple and created disturbances. A case has been registered against them, and an investigation is underway, she informed.
