According to the Baramati Taluka police, the accident took place around 9 PM on Wednesday. The Kokane family—25-year-old Rupali Mayur Kokane, her husband Mayur Kokane, and their two children, 5-year-old Sanvi and 2-year-old Krishna—were traveling on a motorcycle towards Parwadi in Baramati taluka. A hatchback car, coming from the opposite direction, collided with their two-wheeler, causing all four family members to fall off and sustain severe injuries.
Local residents who witnessed the crash immediately rushed to the scene and transported the injured to a nearby hospital. Tragically, Rupali and her daughter Sanvi were pronounced dead by doctors upon arrival. Mayur Kokane and his son Krishna, who suffered serious wounds, were subsequently shifted to a private hospital in Pune for advanced medical treatment.
