Unconscious Man Reunited With Family After Month-Long Disappearance
The first rescue occurred at Wardha station on November 26, when alert RPF personnel Sub-Inspector Preeti Sahare and Constable Sadiq Khan discovered an intoxicated man lying unconscious on the platform at the Badnera end. The railway team immediately sprang into action, identifying the individual through photographs and subsequent verification.
Investigations revealed that the man had been missing from his local community for nearly a month, causing significant distress to his family. Following proper medical attention and documentation, the RPF team successfully reunited the recovered individual with his relieved father, bringing an end to weeks of uncertainty and worry.
Young Woman Rescued Following Domestic Dispute
In a separate but equally critical intervention, the RPF unit stationed at Chandrapur located a young woman who had left her home following a domestic disagreement. Acting on crucial information provided by Northern Railway colleagues, the specialized team traced her location to the general coach of the Telangana Express on November 25.
The railway protection officials provided immediate counseling and necessary support to the distressed woman, ensuring her safety and well-being. After comprehensive procedures and verification, the team formally handed her over to a designated relative on November 26, securing her safe return to family care.
Minor Boy Safely Recovered During Ticket Check
Adding to the series of successful rescues, an alert ticket-checking squad operating aboard Train No. 12721 Dakshin Express (traveling the Nagpur–Amla route) identified and assisted a minor boy traveling alone without a valid ticket in Coach S8.
During questioning, the boy, who hailed from Madhya Pradesh, confessed that he had run away from his family home. The ticket inspection team immediately took protective measures, ensuring the child's security before formally transferring him to the care of RPF Amla for further action and family reunification procedures.
