A seemingly trivial disagreement that had been festering since mid-January culminated in a tragic and fatal incident in the quiet town of Rapar, located in the Kutch district. What began as a minor dispute over a petty issue ultimately led to the alleged stabbing death of a 22-year-old man by an acquaintance, sending shockwaves through the local community.

The victim, identified as Pravin Bharwad, aged 22, lost his life after being stabbed by Nimesh Gadhvi, a known individual, in a violent altercation that unfolded on Sunday evening. According to police reports and a formal complaint filed by the victim's brother, Shailesh Bharwad, the roots of this deadly conflict can be traced back to January 18.
On that day, tensions first erupted between Pravin and Gadhvi following an argument near a petrol pump situated close to the Bharwad family's residence. The core of the dispute revolved around Pravin's objection to Gadhvi frequently passing by their home, a seemingly minor grievance that, unfortunately, spiraled out of control over the following days.
A Brutal Attack and Delayed Medical Attention
The situation reached a critical point on January 25. Pravin had left his home in the morning and did not return for several hours, causing concern among his family members. In the evening, while searching for his brother, Shailesh witnessed a horrifying scene: Gadhvi was assaulting Pravin near a municipal garbage dump.
In a brutal act, the accused allegedly stabbed Pravin in the abdomen before swiftly fleeing the spot on a motorcycle. After the attack, Pravin was brought back home, but he initially refused to seek medical treatment, mistakenly believing that the injury was not serious. This decision proved to be a grave mistake as his condition deteriorated rapidly.
Worsening Condition and Tragic Outcome
The next morning, on January 26, Pravin's situation took a turn for the worse when he was found bleeding heavily. Alarmed family members immediately rushed him to the Rapar government hospital in a desperate bid to save his life. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was referred for further specialized treatment.
He was subsequently admitted to a private hospital in Samakhiyali, but despite all efforts, Pravin succumbed to his injuries at around 3:30 PM on the same day. The loss of this young life has left the community in mourning and raised questions about how such a minor issue could escalate to such a devastating conclusion.

In response to this tragic incident, a formal complaint was registered at the Rapar police station on Monday night.
