- Friday's Racecourse Ground Attack: The most recent case saw a woman assaulted at Racecourse Ground. The attack was prompted by a mother, Bina, who alleged the unknown woman tried to lure her five-year-old daughter with snacks. Police intervention was required to rescue the victim and take her to the hospital.
In a tragic common thread, police investigations following each of these incidents revealed that the targeted women were simply beggars with no connection to any criminal activity.
