Ramgarh Police Intensifies Crackdown on Organized Crime Networks
In response to recent firing incidents that have unsettled the community, a high-level review of the law and order situation was conducted in Ramgarh district on Tuesday. Inspector General of Police (IG) for the Bokaro range, Sunil Bhaskar, led the crucial meeting alongside Ramgarh Superintendent of Police (SP) Ajay Kumar and other senior police officials.
Focus on Organized Crime Gangs and Strategic Review
The gathering centered on a comprehensive assessment of organized crime activities within the district. IG Sunil Bhaskar emphasized the urgency of addressing these threats, stating that he personally examined crime files pertaining to several notorious gangsters. He issued clear directives to the Ramgarh police force to take stringent and decisive action against these individuals and their extensive criminal networks.
"Following due legal procedures, red corner notices will be issued against them soon. These notices will be formally communicated to all Interpol member countries worldwide," the IG announced during a media briefing. This international alert mechanism is a significant step aimed at curbing the cross-border mobility and influence of these criminal elements.
Police Actions and Legal Measures Against Miscreants
IG Bhaskar commended the ongoing efforts of the Ramgarh district police in their fight against organized crime groups. He highlighted that police units have intensified search operations and surveillance activities to dismantle these networks effectively.
Further detailing the legal actions taken, he revealed, "The CCA Act has been imposed against 30 miscreants in the district. Some of these individuals have already been ousted from the area, while others have been directed to regularly present themselves before the officers in charge of their respective police stations." This proactive approach underscores the administration's commitment to restoring public safety and order.
