Kottayam: Ranni MLA Pazhakulam Madhu has demanded a fresh investigation into the Sabarimala gold heist case. He urged the government to restart the probe and reconstitute the Special Investigation Team (SIT) by convincing the High Court.
Allegations Against CPM
Madhu accused the Communist Party of India (Marxist) of bowing before former Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) president A Padmakumar, an accused in the case. He claimed the party fears revelations Padmakumar might make. “The god-like figure mentioned by Padmakumar is likely to be a top functionary within the party itself. Padmakumar must reveal who this figure is,” said Madhu.
Conspiracy and Shield
According to Madhu, the gold heist is part of a major conspiracy within the CPM, and the party is shielding Padmakumar. “It is out of fear of the bomb that Padmakumar says he will explode that the action got confined to a mere suspension. A scam bigger than the gold heist has taken place in Sabarimala. CPM fears that some big, shocking revelation will come out,” he added.
