Renukaswamy Murder Trial to Accelerate with Four-Day Hearings

Bengaluru: The trial in the sensational Renukaswamy murder case, which involves actor Darshan, his friend Pavitra Gowda, and 15 other accused, is set to gain momentum. A sessions court has agreed to conduct hearings four days a week, as requested by the prosecution.

During proceedings on Monday, Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) P Prasanna Kumar urged the court to hear the case on a day-to-day basis, emphasizing that the prosecution is ready for continuous trial. He noted that the Supreme Court has directed the examination of 60 key witnesses within a year and requested the court to avoid adjournments.

SPP Kumar stated, "The court agreed to our plea to conduct a four-day trial in a week and, if necessary, five days." This decision is expected to expedite the legal process in the high-profile case.
