Two Healthcare Workers Found Dead in Separate Pune Locations
The Pune police have launched a detailed investigation after two young lab technicians working at Ruby Hall Clinic were found dead at two different locations in the city. The bodies of Ganesh Kale (21) and Divya Nighote (20), both colleagues at the prominent healthcare facility, were discovered under mysterious circumstances over the weekend.

According to police officials, the sequence of events began on Friday when Ganesh Kale, a native of Beed district who resided in Sangamwadi, was found dead at the railway track in Talegaon Dabhade. The discovery sent shockwaves through their workplace community.
The tragedy deepened on Saturday when Divya Nighote, who lived in Wadgaonsheri area, was reported missing by her family after she failed to return home from work. Her family filed an official missing report at the Koregaon Park police station, prompting an immediate search operation.
Senior Police Inspector Sangita Jadhav revealed that "We launched a search for Divya and traced her last location through technical investigation. Our team found her dead at a house in Sangamwadi area". The residence where Nighote's body was discovered turned out to be Ganesh Kale's home, creating a complex connection between the two deaths.
Police Investigation and Official Statements
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Somay Munde provided crucial details about the ongoing probe. "Divya's body was found at Ganesh Kale's residence on Saturday afternoon. She had been missing since Friday night," Munde stated, adding that "Some external injuries are visible on her body, but the exact cause of death will be determined after post-mortem examination."
The police have confirmed that both deceased individuals were employed at Ruby Hall Clinic and worked together as lab technicians. Authorities have officially informed the family members of both victims about the tragic developments.
In response to the incident, Ruby Hall Clinic issued an official statement through their Legal Advisor Manjusha Kulkarni on Sunday evening. The hospital management expressed deep regret over the "unfortunate incident" and extended their prayers to the bereaved families.
Kulkarni emphasized that "The matter is currently under police investigation and we are fully cooperating with the authorities in all necessary procedures. Our prayers are with the families in such difficult times."
