Incident Details

The explosion occurred on May 25 at a department store near Kila Sahib gurdwara in Sector 45. Three LPG cylinders exploded while six labourers were resting in an adjacent room. The blast was so powerful that the wall separating the store and the living quarters collapsed, triggering a fire.

Victims and Injuries

Earlier, Munna, another labourer, had died from severe burns. Gopi, also from Bihar, remains critical with over 60% burns and is on ventilator support. Three others—Satish, Manish Kumar, and Vijay—were treated and are now stable and out of danger, according to doctors.
