Background: Railway Track Explosion in Fatehgarh Sahib
The security escalation follows a blast on a railway track along the dedicated freight corridor near Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib district on Friday night. The explosion caused damage to the engine of a goods train and resulted in injuries to a loco pilot. In response, security agencies have intensified surveillance and preventive measures across the region to address any further risks.
