Security Breach at MP Minister's Bungalow: Thieves Steal Trophies, Ignore Cash

The theft occurred between the intervening night of April 2 and the early hours of April 3. However, the breach went completely unnoticed until Monday morning, when a security guard discovered that the storeroom lock had been forcibly broken. Complainant Varun Saxena, who serves as a personal assistant at the minister's residence located at C-12, 74 Bungalows near Anand Vihar School, provided crucial details to the police. He stated that on April 2, around 12 noon, he had securely locked the storeroom after placing items inside. Yet, at 11 am on April 3, the lock was found broken, revealing the security breach.
Selective Theft of Commemorative Items
According to police reports, unidentified intruders forcibly entered the storeroom and selectively targeted items that the minister had received at official and public events. Initial findings indicate that approximately five award shields are missing, with a detailed list of other stolen items to be submitted later.
