A 55-year-old security guard was discovered dead under mysterious circumstances inside a locked nightclub in Industrial Area Phase-I of Chandigarh on Saturday morning. The deceased, identified as Radheysham, was a native of Uttar Pradesh and resided in Daria village, Chandigarh.
Incident Details
The incident came to light when the morning shift guard arrived at the nightclub and found the gate locked from the inside. After receiving no response despite repeated attempts, the guard used his own key to open the door. Upon entering, he found Radheysham lying unconscious face down on the ground.
The guard immediately raised an alarm and informed his seniors, who promptly alerted the police. A police team rushed Radheysham to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH-32), where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Investigation Underway
While preliminary findings suggest a natural death possibly caused by cardiac arrest, officials have stated that the exact cause of death will be confirmed only through an autopsy. The police have initiated inquest proceedings into the matter to rule out any foul play.
