A shopkeeper was shot dead in broad daylight in Makhu town of Ferozepur district on Wednesday, sending shockwaves through the local community. The incident occurred around 11:30 am when two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire at the victim, identified as 45-year-old Rajesh Kumar, outside his electronics shop in the main market area.

According to eyewitnesses, the attackers fired multiple shots at Rajesh Kumar before fleeing the scene. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
