The Stuck Suspect
The incident unfolded in the upscale Pal area when neighbors heard desperate cries for help coming from the fourth floor of a residential building. Upon investigation, they discovered a young man clinging to a balcony railing, unable to move up or down.
Failed Burglary Attempt
According to police reports, the man had allegedly scaled the building with the intention of burglarizing a locked apartment. However, his plans went awry when he became trapped on the narrow balcony, finding himself unable to retreat the way he came.
Heroic Firefighters to the Rescue
The Surat Fire and Emergency Services responded immediately to the distress call. "We received information around 8:30 pm about a person stuck on the fourth-floor balcony," said a fire department official. "Our team reached within minutes and assessed the critical situation."
