The victims, both local residents, were brutally attacked. Abhijit Bhaskar Patil, aged 20, succumbed to his injuries. The other victim, 22-year-old Sumit Sunil Gawde, sustained grave wounds and is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital. His condition is reported to be serious.
