New Delhi: Three businessmen were detained for their alleged involvement in celebratory firing at a birthday party held at a farmhouse in outer Delhi's Siraspur area. Police reported that a total of 27 empty cartridges of 7.65 mm caliber were recovered from the scene.
PCR Call and Investigation
According to police, a PCR call regarding the firing was received around 11:35 pm on Tuesday at the Bhalswa Dairy police station. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple fired cartridges and initiated a thorough search of the premises.
Seizure of Weapons and Items
Further search led to the seizure of one semi-automatic pistol with three live cartridges, one country-made pistol, one air gun with four dummy cartridges, 19 live cartridges of 32 bore, two live cartridges of 12 bore, and one empty magazine. Additionally, liquor bottles, beer cans, and flavored hookahs were found at the location, police said.
Detainees Identified
The farm owner, identified as Dilbagh Singh (50), along with his associates Himanshu Rana (27) and Manish Jangra (29), were detained for questioning. Further legal proceedings are underway.
