Three Men Booked for Harassing Women at Mangaluru Waterfall

Mangaluru: Police in Belthangady have registered a case against three men from Kasaragod, Kerala, for allegedly sexually harassing three young women from Mangaluru at a local waterfall on Wednesday.

Incident Details

The three women, who are students in Mangaluru, had visited the waterfall along with the accused: Abdul Khader Altaf (36), Faizal Adil (27), and Usman Saleem (18). During the visit, the accused allegedly behaved inappropriately and sexually harassed the women. The victims immediately resisted the advances, and other people present at the scene intervened to stop the accused and inform the Belthangady police.

Police Action

Police personnel brought the three young men to the station. A formal case was registered at the Belthangady police station, and legal action is being taken, police said. The investigation is ongoing to ensure justice for the victims.
