Bhopal: A 45-year-old man, who was the father of 10 daughters, died after being run over by a tractor in Ashoknagar district on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Ram Singh, son of Tulsi Ram, a resident of Pathariya village.
Accident Details
The tragic incident took place in the Bahadurpur police station area while soil was being removed from a well in a villager's field. Ram Singh was sitting on the ground when the tractor driver failed to notice him. The tractor wheel ran over him, leaving him seriously injured.
He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Ashoknagar, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment later in the evening. After the post-mortem at the district hospital, his body was handed over to the family on Thursday morning.
Family Background
Ram Singh is survived by his 10 daughters, four of whom are married. He was the sole breadwinner of the family, making his sudden death a devastating blow to his dependents.
