Tragic Road Accident Claims Life of Young Motorcyclist in Trichy
A devastating road accident occurred near Mannarpuram in Trichy on Thursday night, resulting in the death of a 27-year-old motorcyclist and injuries to another rider. The collision involved a light commercial container truck and two motorcycles, leading to immediate fatality and hospitalization.

According to police reports, the deceased has been identified as T Paramasivam, a resident of Edamalaipatti Pudur. The incident took place on the road from the Aristo bridge towards Mannarpuram. Paramasivam was riding his motorcycle when a container lorry, driven by P Silambarasan, 27, from Ariyamangalam, collided with his bike.
The impact of the collision was severe, causing Paramasivam's motorcycle to subsequently hit another bike ridden by V Govindaraj, 53, also from Ariyamangalam. Paramasivam sustained critical head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was recovered by police and sent to Trichy Government Hospital for a postmortem examination.

V Govindaraj suffered injuries to his hands in the accident and was promptly rushed to Trichy Government Hospital for medical treatment. His condition is reported to be stable under observation. The swift response from emergency services helped in providing immediate care to the injured rider.
